Whether you are planning a full villa fit-out in Dubai Hills Estate, a renovation in Palm Jumeirah, an apartment transformation in Downtown Dubai or a commercial fit-out in DIFC, the consultation is your opportunity to meet a senior designer from Kat Black Design Studio, discuss your project in detail and understand exactly what the process involves before committing to anything.     The Process

    What to Expect

    The free consultation is a working session, not a sales pitch. A senior designer from Kat Black Design Studio visits your property or meets you at our Dubai studio, depending on your preference. The session typically runs 60 to 90 minutes and covers the following.

    At the end of the consultation you will have a clear picture of the design direction, a realistic budget range and a programme outline. You will also have met the designer who will lead your project. There is no obligation to proceed and no cost.

    Brief

    A thorough discussion of your project brief: what you want to achieve, how you use the space, your aesthetic preferences and any specific requirements or constraints.

    Walkthrough

    A site walkthrough of your property, allowing the designer to assess the existing condition, identify structural opportunities and constraints, and understand the spatial context of the design challenge.

    Budget

    An honest discussion of budget: what is realistic for your project type and specification level in the current Dubai market, with AED ranges provided for the relevant scope.

    Overview

    A programme overview: how long the project will take, what the key stages are and how the approvals process works for your specific property and community.

    Community

    For Dubai Hills Estate and other Emaar community projects: a specific overview of the Dubai Municipality (DM) permit and Emaar community NOC process, including typical timelines and what the studio manages on your behalf.

    How It Works

    Booking and completing your free consultation with Kat Black Design Studio takes three steps.

    Step 1

    Submit Your Request

    Complete the consultation request form on this page or contact us directly via WhatsApp. Provide your name, contact number, property address or community, a brief description of your project and your preferred consultation date and time. All enquiries receive a response within two business hours.

    Step 2

    Confirm Your Appointment

    A member of the Kat Black Design Studio team will confirm your appointment, clarify any details about the project scope and arrange logistics. For consultations at your property, the designer will attend at the agreed time. For consultations at the studio or by video call for international clients, joining details will be provided.

    Step 3

    Meet Your Designer

    Your consultation takes place with a senior designer from Kat Black Design Studio, not with a business development executive. The designer attending the consultation is the person who will lead your project if you choose to proceed. Following the session, you will receive a written consultation summary covering the brief, the indicative budget range and the proposed programme, issued within 48 hours.
